R276273**Staff Nurse– Day Ward****Bon Secours Hospital Dublin****Exciting Opportunity in Our Day Ward Team**Bon Secours Hospital Dublin is currently recruiting a **Staff Nurse - Day Ward** to provide exceptional nursing care within our busy and progressive Day Ward service.The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient and compassionate care for patients undergoing day procedures and treatments, while upholding the Bon Secours Mission, Values and Ethos.**Key Responsibilities*** Deliver safe, effective and efficient nursing care to Day Ward patients.* Conductnursing assessments and develop individualised care plans.* Prepare and support patients before and after procedures.* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with hospital policy.* Ensure safe medication management and adherence to all clinical guidelines.* Recognise and respond promptly to patient deterioration or emergency situations.* Liaise effectively with medical staff, allied health professionals and other departments.* Participate in patient discharge planning and education.* Support quality improvement initiatives and accreditation activities.* Mentor and supportjunior staff and student nurses.* Take charge of the department in the absence of the Clinical Nurse Manager when required.**The Ideal Candidate Will Have*** Registration as a General Nurse on the live register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).* Minimum 1 year post-registrationnursing experience in an acute hospital setting.* Experience in a Day Ward, Surgical Ward or similar acute care environment desirable.* Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.* Commitment to high standards of patient-centred care.* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification essential.* Good IT and documentation skills.**Why Work With Us?*** Competitive and supportive clinical environment.* Ongoing education and professional development opportunities.* Opportunity to work with an experienced multidisciplinary team.* A culture focused on quality, compassion and excellence in patient care.*Bon Secours Health System is an equal opportunities employer.**Our values of Human Dignity, Compassion, Stewardship, Service, and Integrity guide everything we do.
