Quality Engineer

for a high‑end restoration and refurbishment project in County Clare. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious and technically detailed project, working within a strong site and quality team to ensure the highest standards are maintained throughout delivery.

Site Engineers

looking to transition into a quality‑focused role.

In this role the Quality Engineer will work closely with project management and site teams to support the implementation and monitoring of quality procedures across all stages of construction.

Key responsibilities will include:

Carrying out inspections and quality checks across site activities

Monitoring works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and project standards

Assisting with QA documentation, records and reporting processes

Supporting the management of snagging and defect resolution

Coordinating with subcontractors to ensure quality expectations are achieved

Participating in site walks, inspections and handover processes

Working closely with engineering and management teams to resolve quality‑related issues

Supporting continuous improvement of site quality procedures and standards

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will come from a construction or engineering background, with strong attention to detail and an interest in quality management.

Applicants should demonstrate:

Experience as a Quality Engineer, Site Engineer or similar construction role

Strong understanding of construction processes and quality standards

Experience on commercial, refurbishment or high‑spec projects is advantageous

Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability

Good communication and reporting skills

Relevant qualification in Engineering or Construction

Full clean driving licence
