Learning Experience Designer, Data Center Learning, Dublin Pike
Description
Description In this role, you will design and develop learning experiences that directly support the growth and success of Amazon's global data center workforce. You will work backwards from the needs of our learners from Day 1 onboarding through career development to deliver thoughtful, effective, and engaging training solutions. This is a full‑time (five day) office position.

Key Job Responsibilities

Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), Program Managers, and business stakeholders to analyze learning needs and design solutions that drive measurable behaviour change.

Design and develop a variety of learning formats including web‑based training, instructor‑led training, job aids, how‑to videos, and hands‑on practical assessments.

Apply Agile and ADDIE methodologies to manage the full content development lifecycle, from analysis and design through development, implementation, and evaluation.

Translate complex technical data centre concepts into clear, accessible learning content for a diverse, global audience.

Collaborate with the Full Time Training (FTT) team, Learning Advocate community, including SMEs and Checklist Validators, to ensure content accuracy and quality.

Use data and learner feedback to continuously improve existing content and identify gaps in the learning portfolio.

Support the self‑service content development mechanism by coaching SMEs through the LXD process and workflow.

Manage multiple concurrent projects across the full development lifecycle, tracking progress, communicating status to stakeholders, and delivering quality content on time and within scope.

Apply AI‑assisted design tools and workflows to accelerate content development, improve personalization, and enhance the overall learner experience.

Create visually compelling learning assets, including graphics, illustrations, and multimedia elements, that reinforce learning objectives and engage a global audience.

A Day in the Life Your day starts catching up on emails, Slack messages, and tickets that came up overnight. Once you ensure nothing is on the line, you plan your day, craft a to‑do list, and organise focus‑time blocks. This is when you push forward on your sprint deliverables, designing graphics, editing video, drafting interactions, or evaluating your existing training solutions through feedback and metrics. You may also dedicate time to a stretch project, figuring out a new feature or strategy for the team. The day is split between balancing commitments for meetings, documentation, and tickets, with focused design work across a wide array of methodologies and modalities.
