Commercial Litigation Associate, 3–5 Years PQE

The team advises a broad mix of Irish and international clients— including public sector bodies, financial institutions, tech companies, pharma clients and infrastructure operators — on complex, high-value contentious matters across a wide range of practice areas.

The role This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded litigation solicitor to join a busy and well-regarded practice at an exciting stage of its growth. You will work alongside experienced partners on a diverse caseload spanning commercial disputes, public procurement, data protection, construction, IP and regulatory matters.

The role offers real responsibility from day one and clear progression within a collegiate, high-performing team.

Key responsibilities

Managing a varied caseload of commercial disputes across High Court, Circuit Court and specialist fora, with appropriate partner oversight

Conducting and managing litigation in the areas of commercial contracts, financial disputes, public procurement challenges and judicial review

Advising clients on data protection disputes, regulatory investigations and enforcement matters

Handling contentious construction and engineering matters, including arbitration and adjudication

Acting in intellectual property, technology and pharma-related disputes for domestic and international clients

Drafting pleadings, affidavits, legal submissions and correspondence to a high standard

Conducting legal research and providing clear, practical advice to clients at all stages of a dispute

Attending court hearings, case management conferences and mediations

Supporting senior partners on complex, multi-jurisdictional and high-value matters

Contributing to business development and helping to maintain and grow client relationships

Candidate profile

3–5 years PQE as a litigation solicitor in Ireland

Strong academic background and excellent drafting skills

Ability to manage files independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong communicator with a client-focused approach

A team player who thrives in a collaborative, high-performance culture
