Deputy Manager, Under 18s Residential, Cork

Deputy Manager– Under 18s Residential Service (Clonmel, Tipperary) CPL in association with their client, a leading homeless and youth residential service in Ireland, is seeking a Deputy Manager for its Under 18’s Residential Service in Clonmel.

This is a full-time (39 hours, Monday–Friday), specific purpose role supporting the delivery of high-quality residential care to young people aged 15–17.

The service provides short-term accommodation and trauma‑informed support including key working, care planning, advocacy, and engagement with external agencies.

You will support the Service Manager in operational oversight, staff supervision, safeguarding, and day‑to‑day service delivery.

Salary:

€51,800 – €55,800

Requirements:

Third level qualification in Social Care or related field (Level 7/8 minimum)

Experience working in residential childcare, homeless services, or similar social care settings

Supervisory or senior practitioner experience desirable

Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and HIQA standards

Ability to support staff, manage shifts, and contribute to team leadership

Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

Commitment to trauma‑informed, person‑centred practice

Full clean driving licence desirable
