Post Summary Trinity College Dublin is inviting applications for a fixed‑term PhD position in the Department of Sociology.
Duration: 4 years. Stipend:€25,000 per annum (tax‑free). Full tuition fees (EU/non‑EU) covered.
Location: Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
Produce a PhD thesis based on four publishable papers.
Collaborate closely with supervisors and integrate into the School of Social Sciences and Philosophy.
Possibly provide teaching support up to 4 hours per week during term time– paid separately.
Engage in research training, interdisciplinary workshops, and summer schools.
Research Focus The project investigates hereditary cardiac conditions and their psychological, social, and cultural impact, integrating clinical cardiology, cellular biology, psychology, sociology, biomedical engineering, and imaging technologies.
