We are currently looking for an ambitious, high-achieving graduate to join our team as a Trainee Accountant. The Role

As a Trainee Accountant, you will work across a diverse portfolio of clients—ranging from Cork’s thriving indigenous SMEs to large international multinationals. You will gain hands-on experience from day one, rotating through key areas of the business to ensure a well-rounded professional foundation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Supporting audit teams in the field, performing substantive testing, and gaining exposure to various business operations. Assisting in the preparation of year-end financial statements in compliance with FRS and IFRS.Preparing VAT, Corporation Tax, and RCT returns while learning the fundamentals of Irish tax legislation.Helping prepare management accounts and KPIs to provide our clients with real-time business insights. Developing professional relationships and acting as a point of contact for information gathering and query resolution.

What We Are Looking For:

A minimum 2.1 honors degree (Accounting, Business, or related discipline preferred). CAP1/Professional level exemptions are a distinct advantage.A natural aptitude for numbers and a keen eye for detail.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team and engage professionally with clients.A dedicated approach to both your professional work and your studies to achieve your qualification.
