Qualified Accountant – Practice Location: Dublin

Our client, a well-established and growing accountancy practice, is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a practice-trained accountant looking to further develop their career within a collaborative and professional environment.
The successful candidate will work with a varied portfolio of clients including audit exempt companies, sole traders, and partnerships, while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of accounts for audit exempt companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns
• Preparation and filing of Corporation Tax Returns
• Completion of Company Secretarial Returns and related compliance work
• Managing client relationships and responding to day-to-day queries
• Supervising and supporting trainees within the practice
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations
• Assisting with ad hoc assignments and practice support work as required

Candidate Requirements

• Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA
• Completed training within an accountancy practice environment
• Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualified experience within practice
• Strong experience preparing accounts for SME clients
• Good working knowledge of Irish tax compliance requirements
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client priorities
• Experience supervising or mentoring trainees is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and client-focused approach
