Our client is a leading residential developer based in the Greater Dublin Area, who are looking to grow their team with a Senior Procurement Surveyor.

About the Role Our client is seeking a Senior Procurement Surveyor to join our team and play a key role in delivering cost‑effective, commercially sound procurement solutions across our projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, and brings a strong commercial mindset to every decision.

You will support the full procurement lifecycle, from early-stage cost planning and tendering through to contract negotiation and supplier performance management. Your work will directly influence project success, ensuring value for money, compliance, and high‑quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support procurement activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards.

Prepare tender documentation, manage tender processes, and evaluate supplier submissions.

Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and value‑engineering exercises to support commercial decision‑making.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.

Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and cost forecasts.

Build and manage strong supplier relationships to ensure performance, quality, and reliability.

Collaborate closely with project managers, quantity surveyors, and technical teams to ensure procurement strategies meet project requirements.

Identify risks, opportunities, and cost‑saving initiatives throughout the procurement cycle.

Skills

The ideal candidate will have least 3– 5 years within the Construction sector.

Will have a keen eye for detail.

Will have the ability to meet deadlines.

Strong communicator&excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract law, and commercial principles.

Excellent analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

Proficiency in procurement and cost‑management software/tools.
