The Opportunity / Who We Seek We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team as part of our financial services business in Dublin. The role is primarily focused on Jersey and UK legal entities.

A part of the global expansion of the Maples Group's financial services offering, our Dublin office opened its doors in 2006. Responsibilities

Timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts, including analysis and commentary.

Manage and supervise all financial transaction cycles, most importantly revenue cycle and monitor client balances.

Preparation and review of journal entries and oversight of balance sheet reconciliations.

Prepare annual statutory accounts and collaborate seamlessly with auditors for a smooth audit process.

Preparation and monitoring of statutory requirements to ensure compliance with relevant obligations, such as VAT, regulatory submissions, and board reporting.

Assist with the annual budgeting process.

Requirements

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 2+ years post-qualification experience.

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to display analytical and pragmatic thinking.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.

Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
