The IRFU are inviting applications for the role of
Ticketing Executive .
The successful candidate will be the main point of contact for Patrons, Ticket Queries and Former Internationals enquiries.
The position is being offered on a full time permanent basis (subject to 6 month probation). The role will be based in our head office 10-12 Lansdowne Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
The closing date for applications is strictly
4pm Friday 29th May 2026 . Interviews are expected to take place w/c 8th or 15th June 2026.

ROLE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION
Main point of contact for Patrons, Ticket Queries (TQ) and Former Internationals answering enquiries daily. Working closely with the Senior Ticketing Executive and fellow Ticketing Executives ensuring a seamless client experience.

KEY QUALITIES
Organisational, communication and teamwork skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office packages, Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail.
2-3 years previous experience in an administrative role.
Experience of working in a busy office environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Patrons Club Members
Work closely with Patrons Club Members on all aspects of their Membership from Patron Renewal to constant account maintenance:
Email / address changes
Bespoke Invoices / Statements
Change of Ownerships for personal&company or estate reason
Debt collection on patrons renewal schemes
Updating Ten Year Patrons Club Waitlist– approx. 1,300 enquiries per season
General
Handle Ticketqueries ensuring prompt&professional response within 24 hours,
Provide Match Day coverage in the Ticketmaster Ticketing Booth for all International games and major Tournaments– to ensure excellent customer service.
Former International Players
Using Archtics ticketing system to create new accounts when necessary, having verified credentials.
Send mail merge to all current Former Internationals on the database reference allocation of Autumn Series and Six Nations tickets.
Allocate tickets and ensure timely payment prior to release.
Sending out wristbands to Former Internationals in the post for all home games.
Allocation of U20’s 6N Tickets, W6N’s AIL and WAIL tickets
Liaise with Provinces Ulster&Munster re ticket allocation for U20’s and W6N tickets.
Liaise with Six Nations&commercial re Sponsors tickets for W6N tickets, involves changes up to last minute.
Liaise with team Management re tickets for away games and chase on behalf of Irish team.
Please note that the above responsibilities are not exhaustive and may be amended or added to from time to time in line with the needs of the role and the organisation.
The successful candidate must be eligible to live and work in Ireland.
