Post Overview We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Lifeguard/Pool Attendant to join our team in Dublin South East (CHO6).
Contract Type:
Permanent, with relief posts considered.
Contract Hours:
Part time and relief hours considered.
Salary Scale:
€33,661 - €37,425 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI Long Service Increments.
Annual Leave Entitlement:
30 days per annum (pro‑rated to part time hours).
Responsibilities include carrying out lifeguarding and related swimming pool duties within the hydrotherapy pool. The purpose‑built, fully accessible facility supports individuals with disabilities and hosts hydrotherapy sessions led by a multidisciplinary team, as well as public swims.
Essential Criteria
Qualified Lifeguard with qualification obtained with Water Safety Ireland or an international qualification recognised by Water Safety Ireland.
Minimum of 1 year experience working as a qualified Lifeguard.
Qualified first aider.
Knowledge of resuscitation including Cardio‑Pulmonary Resuscitation.
Experience of CPR and emergency medical procedures.
Desirable Criteria
Experience teaching people with a disability to swim.
Experience working with children.
Level 1 Swim Teacher qualification.
