is looking for a versatile

Events Executive

to join our expanding events team. We are seeking a proactive professional with a passion for supporting in the delivery of high-end events and exceptional customer experiences. With a portfolio of over 40 annual events, we provide premium conferences, awards, and exhibitions backed by a dynamic media content strategy as part of the Business Post Group's diverse brand portfolio, which includes the Business Post, RED C Research&Marketing, and the Irish Management Institute. This is a full-time role for an Events Executive, based in Dublin.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

Overseeing a

personal project portfolio , ensuring all budgets, timelines, and priorities are met and communicated effectively.

Cultivating

strong relationships

with stakeholders, including clients, speakers, suppliers, and delegates.

Managing

administrative tasks , generating weekly performance reports, and coordinating with external partners such as venues and AV suppliers.

Managing

stakeholder collateral

across all project initiatives.

Supporting

business development

through lead generation and research, while tracking the results of marketing and PR efforts.

Conducting onsite inspections and

managing projects

in person as required.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, enthusiastic self-starter with strong organisational and time-management skills. You should possess a commercially focused mindset, excellent operational planning abilities, and the collaborative skills needed to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while balancing individual and group interests.

Minimum of 2 years of corporate events experience.

Pro-active attitude, enthusiasm and a 'can do' mentality.

Ability to self-start, self-motivate, self-sustain, self-improve and work independently.

Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility.

Team player: must be able to work productively and collaboratively with others.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications:

Third-level qualification in Project Management, Business, Events Marketing, or a related discipline.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Strong team-working skills.

Fluent in English with excellent written communication.
