Dublin City South / Hybrid Permanent We’re working with a leading financial services organisation that’s going through a major cloud transformation, and they’re looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to take the lead on design, governance, and migration strategy. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape how the business builds and runs in the cloud, while making sure everything is secure, compliant, and scalable.What you’ll be doing

Designing end-to-end AWS cloud architectures using best practice frameworks, landing zones, and secure network setups Mapping out existing on-prem systems and dependencies to ensure smooth, low-risk migrations Making sure everything aligns with key regulatory and security standards (think NIST, DORA, GDPR)Leading design workshops with engineering teams and stakeholders to solve complex delivery challenges Identifying risks early and putting solid remediation plans in place to keep projects on track Key Skills&Experience

7+ years’ experience in cloud architecture, ideally with a strong focus on AWS and large-scale migrations AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) is a must; other cloud certs are a bonus Strong understanding of security and compliance frameworks, especially within regulated environmentsSolid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible Deep knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, encryption, and secure connectivity
