Post‑specific related information Staff Grade Occupational Therapist roles on the CRC Children’s Disability Network (CDNT) teams located in Dublin: Balbriggan, Clondalkin, Clontarf, and Swords.
The CDNT provides intervention to children aged 0‑18 years with complex developmental needs requiring interdisciplinary support, following a Family‑Centred Practice Model and the Progressing Disability Services framework.
During 2024 the CRC is undergoing an organisational transformation in partnership with the Virginia Mason Institute to implement lean healthcare practices.
Essential Qualifications
A recognised Occupational Therapist qualification and registration or eligibility for registration as an Occupational Therapist by CORU.
Excellent communication, initiative, and time‑management skills.
Flexibility and teamwork skills.
A full driving licence and access to a private vehicle. Candidates without a licence who progress are required to obtain one as part of the role.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities.
Experience working with children with physical disabilities.Experience working with children with an autism spectrum disorder.
Experience completing an assessment of need.
Department of Health salary scale applies– Staff Grade Occupational Therapist (€45,063 – €64,424).
This role is subject to HSE approval. We reserve the right to close the competition early if a high volume of applications is received.
