Fund Accountant (Experienced Hire), Dublin Pike

We are working with a global alternative investment firm that is expanding its Dublin presence and is seeking an experienced Fund Accountant to join a growing finance function. This role offers broad exposure to complex fund structures and close collaboration with international stakeholders across multiple business areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in fund accounting, NAV oversight, and financial reporting while partnering closely with internal teams and external service providers.Key Responsibilities

Partner with global teams to prepare and review fund accounting records, including NAV calculations and performance reporting Oversee monthly and quarterly close processes for complex alternative investment funds Review work produced by third-party fund administrators Monitor cash reconciliations and accuracy of interest, dividend, and expense accrualsSupport year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors Assist in determining appropriate accounting treatment for a wide range of transactions Work closely with trading, operations, legal, tax, and investor relations teams About You / Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification Fully

ACCA qualified

(essential) 5‑8 years' experience in fund accounting within financial services Strong exposure to hedge funds, private equity, or alternative investment products Prior big 4 background highly desirable Solid understanding of fixed income instruments and derivatives Advanced Excel and strong analytical skillsSelf-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Stamp4 Visa or EU/Irish passport
