Stelfox is hiring a

Senior Solutions Architect

for a long-term rolling contract. This is an opportunity to design and deliver mission‑critical solutions in a highly complex, fast-paced environment.

The Role As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture of enterprise-scale risk systems. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design innovative, scalable, and resilient solutions that address complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Design and document end-to-end solutions to address complex business problems

Define and enforce architecture standards, coding best practices, and CI/CD frameworks

Lead hands‑on development of PoCs and R&D initiatives to validate technical approaches

Collaborate with risk, compliance, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions

Produce clear architectural artefacts including UML diagrams, workflows, and technical documentation

Provide guidance on technology selection, vendor evaluation, and cost‑benefit analysis

Mentor engineering teams on secure, scalable, and resilient system design principles

Required Experience&Skills

5+ years’ experience in a Solutions Architect (or similar) role

Strong expertise in microservices/SOA architecture within containerised environments

Experience with high-volume ETL and large-scale data processing systems

NoSQL (MongoDB or similar)

Strong knowledge of RESTful/GraphQL APIs and event‑driven architectures (Kafka, Redis Streams, etc.)

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills

Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences

Nice to Have

Experience with Time-Series databases (e. g. Prometheus)

Exposure to Graph databases (Neo4j, TigerGraph)

Familiarity with Agile methodologies
