Senior ASIC/ML Engineer -R&D, Cork

This is an opportunity to work on highly complex, large-scale engineering challenges where AI is being applied to redefine how advanced chips and systems are designed, optimised, and validated.You’ll join a multidisciplinary team of experts across Machine Learning, CAD, Digital&Analog Design, RF, and Systems Engineering, working on real-world problems involving massive datasets and highly sophisticated hardware platforms. What You’ll Be Working On

Developing advanced ML models to improve semiconductor design workflows. Applying AI techniques to complex optimisation problems across VLSI and ASIC design. Building scalable, production-ready ML software and pipelines. Exploring techniques such as: MLOps and deployment frameworks. Collaborating closely with hardware and software engineering teams to bring research into production.This role offers the chance to work on problems that are still largely unsolved within the industry, with the opportunity to influence future generations of chip and system design. What We’re Looking For

Strong programming skills in Python. Experience developing and deploying Machine Learning solutions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to learn quickly and work across new technical domains. Experience in any of the following areas would be highly beneficial:VLSI / ASIC Design.
