A rapidly growing, globally recognised professional services firm is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join its expanding Outsourcing team in Dublin.

This is a senior opportunity within a high-performing and ambitious organisation, offering exposure to a diverse client base including domestic businesses, multinational groups and public sector entities. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping payroll delivery, leading client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the function.

The Opportunity You will take ownership of a varied portfolio of Irish and international payroll clients, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payroll delivery while acting as a trusted advisor on Irish payroll legislation. This role combines technical expertise, client engagement and team leadership, making it ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and review end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients

Oversee payroll compliance, including PAYE, USC, PRSI and statutory filings

Act as a senior point of contact for client queries and technical payroll matters

Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering a high standard of service

Lead, mentor and develop a growing payroll team

Support process improvements and contribute to the ongoing development of the payroll function

Assist with business development initiatives and cross-border projects

About You

4–6+ years’ experience in Irish payroll, including supervisory or management experience

Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and compliance requirements

Experience with payroll systems such as Sage, Thesaurus, BrightPay or similar

Must have portfolio experience.
