Mechanical Engineer, Dublin Pike

We are seeking an experienced

Mechanical Engineer

to support a major engineering project in Dublin. You will work closely with the Project Lead and wider multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality mechanical engineering outputs in a fast-paced project environment.

This role involves

system reviews, equipment coordination, design input, and quality assurance activities

across key project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Review equipment placement within designated systems and locations

Collaborate with Project Manager and cross-functional teams to define project requirements

Support design reviews and provide mechanical engineering input

Verify service flows using technical documentation and specifications

Identify and resolve engineering issues, documenting via Records of Discussion (RODs)

Conduct Equipment Quality Assessments (EQA's) and engineering reviews

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and propose effective solutions

Complete peer reviews accurately and on schedule

Requirements:

Previous mechanical engineering experience in a project environment

Strong CAD and MS Excel skills

Good understanding of mechanical specs, datasheets, and vendor documentation

Experience in engineering and quality reviews

Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Candidates must hold a valid work visa for Ireland or an EU passport.
