We are now looking for an ambitious, energetic, and customer‑focused Showroom Manager to lead our flagship showroom and inspire a team of 5 sales professionals to deliver excellence every single day. The Role As Showroom Manager, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day operations of our showroom while leading, coaching, and developing your team to create a best‑in‑class customer experience. This role is about much more than sales – we are looking for a strong people leader who can motivate a team, improve processes, drive operational efficiency,and continuously raise the standard across the department. You will play a key role in shaping the customer journey, streamlining administration processes, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects the McSport brand and values.
Key Responsibilities Leadership&Team Development
Lead, motivate, and develop a high‑performing showroom team of 5 employees and support achieving targets.
Create a positive, accountable, and customer‑focused team culture.
Conduct regular coaching sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews.
Support training of new team members.
Drive employee engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Lead by example and promote McSport's core values across the team.
Customer Experience - Customer First
Ensure every customer receives a professional, welcoming, and seamless experience from start to finish.
Resolve customer queries, complaints, and issues efficiently and professionally.
Continuously identify ways to improve the customer journey and showroom experience.
Support the team in delivering expert product knowledge and exceptional service standards.
Build strong long‑term relationships with customers and key accounts.
Operational Excellence&Process Improvement
Oversee the smooth day‑to‑day running of the showroom operations.
Identify opportunities to improve administration processes and operational efficiencies.
Ensure quotes, orders, warranties, and customer follow‑ups are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
Monitor workflow and ensure strong communication between departments.
Ensure showroom standards, displays, and presentation are maintained to the highest level.
Support stock management and operational planning where required.
Sales Performance
Support the team in achieving showroom sales targets and KPIs.
Drive commercial awareness and identify opportunities for growth.
Monitor sales performance and provide feedback and coaching to improve results.
Encourage upselling and cross‑selling opportunities while maintaining a customer‑first approach.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in retail, showroom, or sales management.
Proven experience achieving targets
Previous experience leading and developing a team.
A strong passion for customer service and people leadership.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience using Navision an advantage.
Highly organised with strong administrative and problem‑solving abilities.
A proactive mindset with the ability to improve systems and processes.
Commercially aware and results driven.
