Senior Pediatric Psychologist - Family-Centered Care, Dublin Pike

Job Overview Senior Psychologist– Psychology in the CRC Children’s Disability Network (CDNT). This is a full‑time, permanent role (35 hours per week, with part‑time options) based in Dublin. You will be part of a dynamic team providing intervention to children aged 0‑18 with complex developmental needs, working within aFamily Centered Practice model.

Location Dublin– CDNT Balbriggan, CDNT Clondalkin, CDNT Clontarf, and CDNT Swords. Base location: CRC Lead Agency Children’s Disability Network Team.

Responsibilities

Provide assessment, intervention and support to children with complex developmental needs.

Conduct standardised cognitive assessments with children.

Prepare accurate and timely reports.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to deliver family‑centred care.

Contribute to the CRC’s programme of organisational transformation, including the implementation of lean healthcare practices.

Required Qualifications

University Degree or Diploma with first or second class honours in Psychology (major) and honours in the subject.

Recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Educational Psychology.

At least five years of satisfactory post‑graduate experience in professional psychology, including no more than three years in gaining the postgraduate qualification and at least two years full‑time post‑qualification experience as a professional psychologist.

Experience completing standardised cognitive assessment with children.

Excellent report writing, communication, initiative and time‑management skills.

Flexibility and teamwork skills.

Full driver’s licence and access to a car.

Desirable Requirements

Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Experience working with children with physical disabilities.

Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities.

Experience completing Assessment of Need.

Salary Department of Health Salary Scale apply, grade code 367Y (€99,488 – €116,942).
