What You Will Do You will provide up-to-date site surveys, records, and reports regarding works completed and actions needed to aid quoting of new or replacement equipment. Your main role is to carry commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial water/air‑cooled chillers and heat pumps.
As a Chiller Service Engineer, you are the primary contact for all technical service issues, accountable for resolving highly complex systems within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs. You will be working mainly with the company’s largest customers in the Leinster area, predominantly within the foreign direct investment sector of pharmaceutical, life science and high‑tech clients. Health and safety will be at the forefront of everything you do. Although often working without accompaniment you will be part of a team andcontribute towards its success.
What We Look For
You will have a Refrigeration F‑GAS 2079 Certificate.
Ammonia experience would be a distinct advantage.
Relevant trade qualification in refrigeration, or a qualified industrial electrician willing to cross‑train on the York Chiller and heat pumps.
Safe Pass Card&Manual Handling Certificate.
Qualified to a minimum of NFQ 5.
Familiar and capable of delivering service/maintenance and repair of water‑cooled and air‑cooled chillers.
Commissioning experience on large‑ton centrifugal and screw chillers and heat pumps would be a distinct advantage but factory training will be provided.
Have experience with major chiller manufacturers such as York, Sabroe, Trane, Carrier, Daikin.
Capable of working without detailed procedures and with limited supervision.
Full clean Irish driving licence.
