Purpose of the Position/ Role Summary The HR Business Partner (HRBP) supports business leaders by providing practical, commercially aware HR advice and guidance. The role focuses on strengthening manager capability, supporting employee relations, and enabling effective performance management, while ensuring consistency with company policies and local employment legislation.
The HRBP operates as a key link between the HR function and the business, balancing hands‑on operational support with forward‑looking people planning.
This is a 2 year fixed term contract.
Key Role Specific Requirements Business Partnership&Manager Support
Build strong working relationships with managers and act as a trusted point of contact for HR matters
Provide day‑to‑day guidance on people management, performance, and team effectiveness
Support managers in making fair, consistent, and compliant decisions
Performance Management
Support the delivery of the performance management cycle (goal setting, mid‑year reviews, annual reviews)
Guide managers on performance improvement planning and managing underperformance
Encourage a consistent and high‑quality approach to performance conversations
Workforce Planning&Organisational Support
Partner with managers to understand team structures, capability gaps, and hiring needs
Provide input into headcount planning and role design
Support organisational changes, ensuring smooth implementation and communication
Employee Relations
Lead on employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and investigation processes
Provide clear, practical advice aligned with local employment law and company policy
Coach managers on handling sensitive or complex employee issues
Recruitment&Talent
Support recruitment activity through workforce planning and manager guidance
Partner with hiring managers to ensure effective selection decisions
Contribute to onboarding and retention initiatives within the business area
HR Policies&Compliance
Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures
Provide guidance on policy interpretation in line with local legislation
Support compliance requirements across jurisdictions (contracts, processes, documentation)
Data&Insights
Monitor key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absence, performance outcomes)
Identify trends and highlight risks to managers and HR leadership
Support action planning based on insights (e.g., engagement survey outcomes)
Change&Continuous Improvement
Support business‑led change initiatives (e.g., restructures, process improvements)
Contribute to improving HR processes and ways of working
Promote a positive employee experience through practical HR support
Experience
Strong working knowledge of employment law (multi‑country experience desirable)
Experience supporting employee relations cases end‑to‑end
Ability to build credible relationships with managers
Practical, solution‑focused approach to HR challenges
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working in a fast‑paced, operational environment
Minimum 5 years’ experience within the HR function
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
