Welder – Agricultural Machinery (MIG) - Southern Ireland - €30,000 + Overtime

The Job:
A well established manufacturing business is looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join the workshop team working on agricultural machinery and steel fabrication projects. This is a hands on role within a busy workshop environment, involving the fabrication, assembly, repair and modification of heavy duty agricultural equipment and steel components. The position would suit someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and is comfortable working from technical drawings within a fast paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- MIG welding steel components used within agricultural machinery and equipment
- Fabrication and assembly of structural steel parts
- Working from engineering drawings and welding specifications
- Repairing and modifying machinery and fabricated components where required
- Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety
- Supporting general workshop duties as part of the wider team
- Ensuring work is completed efficiently and to production deadlines

A well established engineering and manufacturing business specialising in agricultural machinery and steel fabrication, supplying quality products and services within the agricultural sector.

The Candidate:
- Proven MIG welding experience
- Strong background in steel fabrication
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Practical and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience within agricultural machinery, heavy engineering, or plant environments would be an advantage

The Package:
- Salary €30,000 DOE
- Full-time, permanent role

Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
