Join the team at Arts&Disability Ireland. Are you someone with at least two years’ experience (or equivalent) in access, training or research? Do you have strong administrative skills and a commitment to the arts and cultural sector, with experience supporting audiences with disabilities and delivering or supporting access provision? Do you have knowledge of arts participation, Disability Equality Training (DET), and a clear understanding of the social model of disability?Working in partnership with the arts sector, Arts&Disability Ireland seeks to achieve transformational change across the cultural landscape by increasing visibility, participation and inclusion for artists and audiences with disabilities. Position Overview
The Training&Access Officer will report to the Programme&Services Development Manager and will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of Arts&Disability Ireland’s Access Services (including audio description and captioning) and Disability Equality Training (DET) programme, as well as responding to information enquiries and undertaking related research. The role suits someone who understands the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion within an arts context, can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and is able to manage a varied and demanding workload.Position Information
