Description
Our client, a Tier 1 Main Contractor, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dublin. This leading construction company is renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative projects across Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team working on a large scale multi-million euro project.
Responsibilities
Cost Management:
Manage and control all project costs to ensure the project is completed within budget.
Budget Preparation:
Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates, ensuring accurate and timely budgeting.
Contract Administration:
Administer contract terms and conditions, manage claims, and negotiate variations and final accounts.
Procurement:
Oversee the procurement process, including the selection and appointment of subcontractors and suppliers.
Valuations:
Prepare and submit accurate monthly valuations, ensuring timely and appropriate invoicing.
Reporting:
Produce regular financial reports, including cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and profitability analysis.
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor with a Main Contractor
Strong technical understanding of quantity surveying practices, cost management, and contract administration.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field.
Salary Package
€75k – €85k + DOE
