Associate– Executive Assistant
PwC Ireland invites applications for an Associate Executive Assistant role within the Core Administration Hub. This position supports senior Firm partners and spans the Business Enablement Services (BES) and Business Administration (BA) functions. Responsibilities
Manage an executive-level BA service for Firm partners. Own all enquiries and problems, resolving or escalating issues as appropriate. Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with Firm policies, procedures and deadlines. Draft complex and sensitive communications on behalf of partners. Proactively coordinate meeting logistics and anticipate scheduling conflicts.Attend meetings as necessary, providing detailed and actionable minutes. Manage follow‑up on key action items and ensure accountability. Coordinate project activities: attend project meetings to understand requirements, delivery timescales and support actions. Manage partner inboxes, prioritising critical communications.Handle sensitive documents with a high level of confidentiality and integrity. Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing issues proactively. Liaise with the BA Hubs and Regional Offices as required. Delegate transactional work when appropriate to manage workloads effectively. Draft stakeholder emails and engage stakeholders to support decision‑making.Support stakeholders in up‑skilling of Firm‑wide systems. Provide informal coaching to junior team members. Participate in team activities that support personal and Firm development. Execute other ad‑hoc responsibilities as required. Qualifications – Essential
Secondary level education and a relevant post‑secondary qualification. Minimum of four years of proven experience providing comprehensive administrative support to senior executives or management teams. Proficiency in Microsoft365 applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). Strong project‑management and coordination skills, including prioritising multiple stakeholders’ conflicting priorities.Experience handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability. Demonstrated champion of Evolved PwC Professional behaviours. Qualifications – Preferred
Excellent organisational skills and self‑motivation with a commitment to continuous self‑development. Strong influencing and communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to build and maintain internal and external networks to support business objectives. Flexibility and agility to adapt to changes and contribute to system improvements / firm initiatives.Role model for inclusivity, with an understanding of cultural differences and a commitment to diversity.
