BHA is seeking an experienced Site Manager. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Site Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, coordination, and management of all construction activities on the site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.Responsibilities: Assume overall responsibility for the effective management and execution of construction activities on the site. Follow project plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Supervise and coordinate all site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and tools.Implement and enforce site policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive working environment. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues that may impact project progress or quality. Collaborate with the Contracts Manager and Planner to develop construction schedules and resource plans.Monitor project timelines and milestones, to meet deadlines and budgetary constraints. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project progression. Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation. Maintain documentation of all construction activities, including progress reports, change orders, and quality control records.Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project standards. Conduct regular inspections to assess workmanship, quality of materials, and adherence to specifications. Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents or injuries.Identify potential safety hazards and take proactive measures to mitigate risks. Facilitate regular safety meetings and training sessions for site personnel. Provide effective leadership to the site team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment. Communicate project goals, expectations, and updates to site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.Foster strong working relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and conflict resolution. Conduct regular performance evaluations of site personnel, providing feedback and guidance for professional development. Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role, preferably in residential housing projects.In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and building codes. Strong project management skills, with the ability to develop and execute construction schedules and budgets. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to enforce strict compliance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Proficient in using construction management software
