Environmental Consultant (Senior)– 8+ years’ experience Location: Tralee/Limerick/Cork
My client is an established multi‑disciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy based in Munster, with offices in Tralee and Limerick. They are currently seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join their growing team and contribute to a range of exciting and diverse projects.
This position is ideal for
Senior Environmental Consultants
with over 8 years of experience who are looking for an opportunity to work on challenging projects within a supportive, team‑oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the environmental components of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Provide expert guidance on environmental planning and regulatory matters.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineers, planners, and architects, to integrate environmental considerations into project designs.
Prepare and review environmental documentation such as EIARs, EIA Screening Reports, Construction Environmental Management Plans, and Resource and Waste Management Plans.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and authorities as needed to support project development.
Represent the company at client meetings, public consultations, and regulatory hearings.
Mentor and support junior team members, helping to develop their understanding of environmental regulations and best practices.
Requirements
Over 8 years of experience in environmental consultancy or a related field.
Proven expertise in Environmental Impact Assessments, regulatory compliance, and environmental planning.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of professionals.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
A commitment to high standards of environmental performance and continuous professional development.
Salary
€55k – €75k DOE
