Procurement Manager, Dublin Pike

Our client, a leading international engineering consultancy with a strong presence across Ireland, is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to support major rail and infrastructure programmes. This is an excellent opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join a growing team delivering complex public sector projects across Ireland’s evolving transport sector.

The Role As Procurement Manager, you will lead end-to-end procurement activity across high-value infrastructure and rail projects, ensuring compliant and commercially effective tendering processes.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing procurement strategies aligned to project objectives

Managing full ITN/ITT and tender lifecycle processes

Leading market engagement and supplier consultation activities

Supporting tender evaluations, governance and award recommendations

Working closely with engineering, legal, PMO and commercial teams

Managing procurement risk and ensuring audit compliance

Building strong supplier and client relationships across the rail sector

Supporting continuous improvement across procurement processes

About You The successful Procurement Manager will ideally have:

Experience managing complex public sector or regulated procurements

Knowledge of Irish and EU public procurement regulations

Experience with NEC contracts and procurement models

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Experience within infrastructure, engineering or rail projects

Degree qualification in Procurement, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law or similar

Membership of, or progress towards, CIPS or RICS desirable

Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple tenders

Experience within rail infrastructure or consultancy environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
