A Tier 2 main contractor is seeking an experienced Planner to join their high-performing project team in North Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile projects with blue-chip clients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and scheduling of key construction activities across multiple projects.Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely project delivery. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to develop integrated programmes. Monitor progress, identify delays or risks, and implement corrective actions where required. Conduct site visits and update schedules in line with project progress.Support coordination of materials, resources, and construction sequencing. Provide regular programme updates and reports to stakeholders, highlighting milestones and risks. Review drawings and specifications to identify planning or sequencing issues. Assist in managing multiple live projects and ensuring accurate reporting.Apply Earned Value Management principles where required. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, including NEC contracts. Requirements
Degree in a construction-related discipline. Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction planning or scheduling. Strong proficiency in P6, Asta Powerproject, and Microsoft Project. Experience with Earned Value Management and NEC contracts. Salary Package
