Purpose of Role We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Boiler Maintenance Technician to join our expanding Maintenance Team, with a primary focus on mechanical services. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in delivering high standards of service and technical excellence across a varied portfolio of client sites in Dublin and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will bring strong hands‑on expertise in commercial gas boilers, HVAC units, gas systems, and plumbing services, and will enjoy working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance across commercial, hospital, and healthcare sites
Diagnose and repair faults on commercial boilers, HVAC systems, and associated gas services
Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety procedures, EHSQ standards, and quality requirements
Build strong working relationships with clients and represent Tritech professionally on site
Work closely with the service desk to ensure prompt resolution of both technical and operational queries
Meet service level agreements and maintain excellent response times
Support and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and best practice
Participate in an out-of-hours rotational call‑out service
Deliver work efficiently within agreed timelines Role Requirements
Relevant trade qualification and/or third‑level qualification (essential)
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar maintenance or service role
Strong experience with commercial heating systems and plumbing
Experience with gas‑fired AHUs is highly desirable
OFTEC certification is an advantage, though not essential
Valid Safe Pass
Full clean driver's licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines
This role may require Garda vetting for access to certain client sites. Engineers assigned to these sites must undergo and obtain satisfactory Garda clearance in order to carry out their duties.
