Our client is looking for an ambitious
Associate Director
to lead our Audit&Accounts team in North Dublin. In this key leadership role as
Associate Director , you’ll manage a diverse client portfolio while guiding a talented team and working closely with the Board of Directors. With a clear path to Directorship, this
Associate Director
position offers strategic involvement in the firm’s growth and long‑term career progression.
Responsibilities
Mentor and manage the Audit&Accounts team, drive performance reviews, training, and uphold a culture of accountability and ethics.
Serve as the primary contact for a diverse portfolio, build long-term relationships, deliver tailored solutions, and cross-sell services.
Oversee audits, financial statements, and tax filings, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP, FRS 102, IFRS, and ISAs while maintaining advanced technical knowledge.
Collaborate with Directors on strategic goals, lead business development initiatives, monitor commercial outcomes, and champion digital innovation for efficiency and client success.
Requirements
Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience across audit, accounts, and client portfolio management.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and oversee complex audit engagements.
In-depth knowledge of Irish and UK accounting and auditing standards.
Strong commercial awareness with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships.
Confident in using cloud‑based platforms and digital tools to enhance efficiency.
Highly organised, detail‑focused, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
Inspirational leader with a passion for developing talent and driving business growth.
