This role has a broad remit and close working relationships across all business areas. Key to the success of this role is the development of the planning function, supporting the advancement of IBP across the business, and the strive to consistently meeting industry best practice in planning and across the business.The role will be broad and will contain all planning and supply chain activity, as outlined below: Leadership, development and mentoring of the Horseware End-to-End Supply Chain Planning team Proactively own the development of optimised inventory planning to support the business across all categories, channels, markets, and business streamsPartner cross-functionally to drive the IBP process across the business Hands-on approach to the implementation of industry-standard best practices across the supply chain planning function, through the ongoing improvement of inventory planning positioning for the business and removing the need for extensive manual processesDrive the scheduling of FG production at the supply base, aligned with forecasting requirements and capacity planning at the factories, to ensure optimised availability at global distribution warehouses Identify targets and KPIs for supply chain planning and work to support their development Support the procurement function in developing and monitoring of supplier management protocols and control structures across the businessDeveloping and implementing supply chain strategies Education and Skills: Strong industry background in both supply and demand planning is essential Hands-on people management and development experience is necessary A degree in supply chain, business or planning discipline is required Working knowledge of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is requiredProficiency in supply and demand planning best practices, preferably in a textile related industry Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to synthesize and communicate complex data into actionable tactical insights connected with strategic goals Pro-active approach to new technologies, systems and processes to drive the function forwardKnowledge of manufacturing is an advantage Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross functional and senior management, as required Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality Developing and implementing supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costsSummary of the Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with role and experience.
