My client is launching a new and strategically important commissioning division and is seeking a

Director of Operations

to lead its development and growth.

This is a founding leadership role offering the opportunity to shape strategy, build a high‑performing team, and deliver end‑to‑end commissioning solutions to global clients.

The Role

Lead the setup and growth of a new commissioning function

Drive technical strategy and delivery across complex, mission‑critical projects

Engage directly with clients, leading technical discussions and solution development

Support business growth through bids, proposals, and client relationships

Build and mentor a balanced technical team, from senior experts to early‑career talent

Ensure quality, governance, and best practice across all projects

About You

Senior experience in commissioning, engineering, or operations leadership

Strong electrical or mechanical technical background

Proven track record in delivering complex projects and growing teams

Confident client‑facing leader with commercial awareness

Open to international travel and global project delivery
