The Distributed Platforms team is looking for a Director of Site Reliability Engineering to join our Dublin Tech Hub. As part of a global team this role will focus on leading our operational presense in Europe as well as owning and driving key global SRE initatives of automation, obserability, monitoring and operational resilienceThe ideal candidate will have strong hands on technical experience across our core technologies of Linux, Windows, Vmware and Storage and experience working in critical operational environments. The ideal candidate will also be passionate about infrastucture resilency, measuring what matters, reducing toil, continually improving our processes and resilency capabilities across our core technology stacksBuild and run our SRE operational presense in Europe Be the in-region owner and commander for operational incidents Define, measure and report key operational KPIs along with maintaing ITSM metrics Own a key pillar of SRE maturity of automation/toil-reduction, obserbability/monitoring or operational resilencyMentor engineers and develop a strong SRE mindset across our operations
