Lead Electrical Engineer (Design)– Data Centre Projects (Client-Side) Fortivum is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Design Engineer to drive the design and delivery of hyperscale data centre projects. This is a client-side role offering the opportunity to lead complex electrical systems across the full project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Lead electrical design development, review, and approval across all project stages.

Provide technical oversight on HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and power distribution.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.

Act as the main technical interface with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and mission‑critical performance.

Mentor junior engineers and support technical excellence across the team.

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).

8+ years’ experience in large-scale or mission‑critical projects (data centres preferred).

Proven experience leading electrical design and coordination.

Strong technical knowledge of power systems and building services integration.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
