QC Specialist, Cork

QC Specialist RK5499 Contract 12 months Cork Were currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with an award-winning Pharmaceutical organization based in Cork. This is an excellent position for anyone who is looking to join a leading multinational who are one of the best at what they do. The candidate must have a strong technical knowledge of analytical techniques and strong knowledge of related laboratory equipment in one or more of the following areas: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioassay or Microbiology. Duties: Support the Team Leader in day-to-day testing operations. Perform data and QC investigation review and approval. Review and approve deviations, CAPAs, and change controls. Plan and oversee lab-related projects such as method transfers and equipment qualification. Proactively identify and drive laboratory process improvements. Train laboratory teams on specific analytical technologies. Provide subject matter expert technical support on analytical technologies. Support lean initiatives in laboratory operations, including test method execution, documentation updates, and equipment qualification. Present technical analytical data clearly and concisely to customers, internal investigations, and regulatory inspectors. Keep abreast of analytical technology and compliance trends. Experience and Education: Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related scientific field 4 years of related experience in the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with Quality Control document reviews and regulatory inspection processes Working knowledge of quality systems Strong technical knowledge and experience with QC analytical testing methods and equipment If interested in this posting please feel free to contact Rachel Kent at Life Science Recruitment for further information.
