We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically strong individual to join our Reward team with a primary focus on financial analysis, budgeting, and compensation data management. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR controlling, cost management, and some exposure to reward processes, supporting key compensation cycles and financial reporting activities across the organisation.
This role is full time hybrid in our Cork office but we are open to consider part time and flexible hours for the right candidate.
Your Responsibilities
1. Financial Analysis & Reporting (Primary Focus)
2. Budgeting & Forecasting Support Assist in annual budgeting and reforecasting cycles for personnel expenses Support Finance and HR in consolidating global workforce cost assumptions Update and manage cost models, including scenario analysis (e.g., hiring plans, salary increases, bonus outcomes) Contribute to ad hoc financial queries related to compensation topics
3. Accruals & Financial Controls Prepare and maintain quarterly accrual calculations for bonuses, commissions, and other incentive plans Support reconciliation of accruals vs. actual payments in collaboration with Finance and Payroll Ensure audit-ready documentation for all compensation-related financial entries Assist in strengthening financial controls and governance around reward processes
4. Compensation Data & Reward Processes (Supporting Role) Support key reward cycles such as salary reviews, bonus payments, and LTI grants from a data and cost perspective Validate and reconcile compensation datasets used for payroll and reporting Support compensation data submission sets to data and benchmarking vendors
5. Systems, Automation & Data Quality Work with Excel and HR systems to: Maintain large datasets and models Improve data integrity and reporting accuracy Develop or enhance automated reports and tracking tools Support ongoing improvements in HR controlling processes and reporting frameworks
Your skills and experience: Some prior exposure (early careers experience) in finance, controlling, accounting, or data analysis Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail Proficiency in Excel Comfortable working with confidential and sensitive data Structured, reliable, and proactive working style
Nice to have: Exposure to financial concepts such as accrualsPrevious experience in HR, Finance, or data analysis
