Supply Chain Manager MM is a global leader in consumer packaging. The Group provides packaging solutions for cartonboard and folding cartons with an attractive offer in kraft papers, uncoated fine papers, leaflets and labels. MM promotes sustainable development through innovative, recyclable packaging and paper products. Your Role The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for end-to-end supply chain planning, ensuring the efficient flow of materials, products, and information from suppliers to customers. The role balances demand forecasting, production scheduling, Order management, inventory optimisation, and cross-functional coordination to meet service, cost, and working-capital objectives. This is an office-based role with the potential for occasional visits to customer sites. Responsibilities: You will create and execute manufacturing plans that ensure product availability while minimising inventory and cost. You will oversee customer order entry process and ensure timely and professional handling of all customer communications You will monitor and improve service levels (OTIF) and lead times. You will develop and maintain demand forecasts through collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance. You will lead Sales&Operations Planning (S&OP / IBP) processes to align demand, supply, and financial plans. You will manage inventory policies, safety stock, and stock-turn targets across the network. You will coordinate with procurement, manufacturing and logistics teams to resolve capacity and supply constraints. You will identify supply risks and implement mitigation and continuity plans. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or advanced planning tools. You will prepare and present performance reports and scenario analyses for senior leadership. You will lead, coach, and develop planning and customer services teams. You will build and maintain strong customer relationships by maintaining consistent Customer focus. You will show a proactive and positive attitude towards learning the technical aspects of leaflet and labelmanufacturing, while continuously developing commercial awareness. You will manage onboarding of new business into site You will manage intercompany flows of orders and product Experience and Core Skills: Planning experience of planning systems either having worked as a planner or having been accountable for a planning process. You will have well-developed leadership skills, capable to lead team positively, even in challenging operational environment and cultivate improved employee engagement You have a highly developed sense of ownership, takes responsibility for deliverables in the SC/Planning/CS area You promote team building, team member training skills You will be customer service focused You will build good working relationships You will focus on continuous improvement evidence of own improvement initiatives realised You will have commercial nous experience of representing Company to customer You will be hands-on will need to step into team to execute processes during times of vacation etc. E.g. backup to the planner, producing the plan. Backup to the CS team. You will have a high competence working with numbers and excel You will have good/high energy level You will be technical bent you will have the ability to learn the intricacies of the production processes and item range in order to advise customers on best solution.
