Test Lead, Dublin Pike

My client based in Dublin 2 are seeking an experienced Test Lead for an initial 12 month contract to drive end-to-end quality assurance across Agile scrum teams and ensure delivery of high-quality customer-facing solutions.

This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on embedding quality throughout the development lifecycle while providing visibility into product quality, delivery health, and risk management.

You will act as the primary QA lead within the squad, collaborating closely with stakeholders, development teams, and QA engineers to align testing activities with sprint commitments and delivery timelines.

This role operates on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week - Dublin

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary QA lead within Agile scrum teams, ensuring alignment on quality objectives and delivery priorities

Manage QA workload, resource allocation, and testing activities across sprint cycles

Identify, track, and escape quality risks, blockers, and delivery concerns to relevant stakeholders

Coordinate manual and automated testing activities including regression, integration, API, UI, and release testing

Support defect triage, release readiness assessments, and quality sign‑off processes

Define and implement risk‑based testing strategies using customer usage patterns and analytics insights

Improve QA processes, standardise testing practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Mentor QA engineers and support a collaborative, quality‑focused culture

Leverage AI‑enabled testing tools and techniques to improve efficiency, automation, and defect detection

Requirements

7+ years of Test Lead experience

Proven experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environments

Experience with AI‑enabled QA or testing tools

Previous experience leading or mentoring QA teams in fast‑paced delivery settings

Strong hands‑on experience with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, API testing, UI testing, integration testing, and regression testing

Ability to manage competing priorities and proactively drive quality outcomes

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non‑technical teams

Experience reviewing and supporting automation strategies and QA best practices

Comfortable working within evolving and fast‑moving project environments
