Overview Join AtkinsRéalis and help shape Ireland's infrastructure. AtkinsRéalis, a global leader in engineering and project management, is hiring Senior Resident Engineers (Civil) to oversee water and wastewater infrastructure projects for Uisce Éireann.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of construction delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Contract Compliance: Ensure works are carried out in line with contract documents and specifications, including rigorous testing and quality assurance.
Health&Safety Oversight: Implement and monitor UisceÉireann safety policies, review HSQE documentation (RAMS, TMP), and conduct weekly site safety reviews.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact for UisceÉireann, project managers, and contractors, providing clear updates and resolving issues promptly.
Risk&Issue Management: Report and manage incidents, assist in investigations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Quality Assurance: Monitor workmanship and materials to meet required standards, ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) with experience in civil engineering, including administering Public Works and FIDIC contracts.
In‑depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
Ability to review technical documentation, monitor quality standards, and oversee compliance.
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
A proactive, problem‑solving mindset and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
