Job Description 3Q Recruitment is hiring Healthcare Assistants to support adults with physical, sensory and neurological disabilities across supported accommodation services in West Cork. The role offers flexible part‑time hours within a supportive, community‑focused environment where person‑centred care, independence and wellbeing are valued.
What you’ll do
Support daily living and personal care routines
Encourage independence and community participation
Build positive and respectful relationships
Support individuals in line with personal support plans
Promote dignity, inclusion and wellbeing
Drive service users to appointments and activities
Work within a supportive multidisciplinary team
Requirements
QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (or equivalent) OR QQI Level 6 Social Care / Nursing qualification
Experience supporting people with disabilities
Full manual driving licence and willingness to drive for work
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good standard of verbal and written English
Eligibility to work in Ireland
Positive and person‑centred approach to care
Candidates without qualifications may be considered if willing to complete QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support within two years
Subject to Garda vetting; International police clearance if lived/ worked outside Ireland for 6 months or more since age 16
