Finance Business Systems Analyst (Qualified Accountant) Dublin

Armont Recruitment have partnered with a leading global organisation with a strong European finance and analytics hub based in Dublin. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, finance systems, and business transformation, supporting initiatives that improve core finance processes, reporting, and controls across a global business.

This opportunity is designed for a qualified accountant who has worked close to finance systems, projects or transformation initiatives and is now looking to move beyond traditional accounting into a more analytical, systems‑focused role with real influence on how finance operates.

You will work closely with senior finance leaders, technology teams, and project stakeholders, contributing to the definition and delivery of accounting‑led change.

The Role

Analyse and interpret accounting and finance requirements across transformation and systems initiatives

Work with finance stakeholders to understand end‑to‑end accounting processes (e.g. close, reporting, controls) and identify opportunities for improvement

Support the definition of practical, scalable solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and control within finance operations

Translate finance and business needs into clear, structured documentation to support delivery, testing, and implementation

Contribute across the full initiative lifecycle, from problem definition and requirements through to implementation support and post‑go‑live review

Support governance, progress tracking, and risk identification across finance‑led projects, ensuring transparency and accountability

The Candidate

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Experience working with or alongside finance systems, reporting tools, or transformation projects

Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess accounting processes and data, not just produce reports

Comfortable working between finance and non‑finance stakeholders, explaining impacts clearly and confidently

Genuine interest in process improvement, systems change, and finance transformation

Proactive mindset, willing to challenge existing ways of working and contribute ideas
