Role Overview This is a senior programme delivery role operating at executive level, responsible for leading the end‑to‑end delivery of a large‑scale, complex programme from mobilisation through to operational readiness and live service.
The role requires an individual capable of operating at board level, managing multi‑workstream delivery across diverse teams, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders, vendors, and governance bodies.
This is not a standard project management role, it requires proven programme leadership experience at scale, with full accountability for delivery, governance, and outcomes.
Candidates must demonstrate experience delivering programmes through full test cycles (SIT, FAT, SAT), ORT, pilot, and go‑live phases, with accountability for operational readiness and client‑facing delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end programme delivery, from mobilisation through to transition into live operations
Own and manage integrated programme plans across all workstreams
Operate at board / executive level, including reporting and decision‑making
Manage programme governance, reporting, and control structures
Oversee budget, scope, and delivery performance
Lead cross‑functional teams and external vendors
Manage large, geographically distributed teams across countries and cultures
Drive stakeholder alignment across complex environments
Ensure risk, issue, and change management
Lead transition into BAU and ensure operational readiness
Management, understanding and Knowledge of all testing, pilot phases and go‑live execution
Act as a client‑facing programme lead and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Programme Leadership
Proven experience leading large‑scale programmes (not just projects)
Accountability for end‑to‑end delivery, budget ownership, and multi‑workstream coordination
Executive&Board‑Level Capability
Experience operating at senior governance / board level
Ability to influence decisions and manage scrutiny
Team Leadership
Experience leading large, distributed teams across multiple countries and cultures
Ability to manage underperformance and develop high performers
Programme Control&Planning
Advanced use of Microsoft Project (or equivalent)
Experience managing integrated programme plans and dependencies
JIRA
Delivery&Testing Lifecycle
Strong understanding of: FAT, SAT, SIT
Experience delivering ORT, pilot, and go‑live phases
Client&Stakeholder Management
Strong client‑facing experience
Ability to manage senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships
Delivery Environment
Experience delivering in complex, high‑pressure environments
