Are you a Registered General Nurse ready to step into a leadership role that blends clinical expertise with governance, quality and service improvement? Connected Health, one of Ireland's leading homecare providers, is hiring an Area Support Nurse to join our growing clinical team.
This is a hybrid role based in Dublin, with travel across your designated HSE area.
The Role Working alongside our Client Care Managers, you'll take ownership of clinical standards, compliance and quality assurance across your area - making sure every client receives safe, effective, person-centred care at home.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical support and guidance on complex care needs, including wound care.
Oversee audits, compliance checks and inspection readiness (HSE Tender 2023 and HIQA standards).
Manage incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns with transparency and learning.
Build strong relationships with HSE stakeholders, Public Health Nurses, clients and families.
Identify training gaps and support staff development across the area.
Contribute to clinical governance meetings, KPI reporting, policy development and service improvement.
Support contingency planning and priority banding of clients.
Essential Requirements
Active NMBI registration - General Nurse Division.
Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience in an acute setting.
Full, clean Irish driving licence with access to your own car.
Strong Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Desirable
Experience in home care or community nursing.
Background in audit, compliance or clinical governance.
