Reporting to the Shift Manager deputized by the Production Manager, the job holder is responsible for the day‑to‑day print manufacturing process as instructed through the print plan. This role encompasses Lithographic and Digital printing. On a day‑to‑day basis, the job holder will report to the shift manager and is expected to deliver print in accordance with the customer specification and play akey role in standardizing the ways of working by following the site procedures and policies at all times.

Specific Areas Of Responsibility Include

As information is made available through the production plan the job holder will be required to manufacture goods accurately and timely whilst maintaining compliance at all times.

The job holder may be required to train on Guillotine and Folding.

The Printer is responsible for delivering the day‑to‑day printed goods and reporting any press or external issues that may cause the plan to change or cease.

The Printer must clearly communicate, using agreed tools and techniques, the print plan status at all times. The input of data into the Radius system must be accurate to allow on‑going analysis.

The timely and cost conscious delivery of the print plan.

Teamwork and day‑to‑day improvement of the internal customer – supplier relationships is paramount.

The role requires the job holder to work to practices that support the site hygiene, food safety, environmental and safety programmes.

Experience

Experience in lithographic printing is essential, digital printing would be an advantage.

Strong attention to detail, working accurately and ensuring deadlines are met.

An ambassador for Continuous Improvement.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with Radius would be an advantage.
