We are hiring a Staff Nurse for one of the best Nursing Homes in Co Louth who is passionate about improving the quality of life of their residents and places a strong importance on social, physical, and mental stimulation.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized, person-centred care plans within an agreed framework, in line with best practice, regulatory standards, and current evidence-based nursing research.

Provide holistic, person-centred care that promotes independence and enhances residents’ quality of life.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents and their families/guardians.

Collaborate effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care and outcomes for residents.

Maintain accurate, timely, and appropriate documentation and reports relating to resident care.

Promote a culture of quality care using an evidence-based approach within a safe environment, while upholding the dignity and respect of each resident.

Support a model of care that enables and empowers residents, respecting their autonomy, rights, and informed consent.

Act as an advocate for residents and their families, providing guidance and information to support decision-making, goal setting, and problem-solving, and encouraging participation in community-based activities
