Overview
Deputy Social Care Manager - Disability Services Permanent, Full-time. Reports to: Person in Charge (PIC) / Director of Disabilities. Location: Dunleer, Co. Louth. Your Role
Support the Person in Charge (PIC) in managing daily operations of a designated centre. Supervise and mentor staff, promoting reflective practice and accountability. Ensure compliance with HIQA, the Health Act 2007, and all relevant legislation. Champion person-centred planning, dignity, and inclusion.Contribute to audits, inspections, and quality improvement. Deputise for the PIC when required, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
What You’ll Need
Level 7 or higher qualification in Applied Social Care (CORU-approved) or related field (Social Work, Psychology, Youth&Community Work, Nursing). Three years’ post-qualification experience in disability or social care, including some supervisory experience. Knowledge of HIQA Standards, Children First Act 2015, Disability Act 2005, and GDPR. A Nursing qualification with relevant experience and a management qualification (30 ECTS Level 6+) may also beconsidered.Full, clean driving licence.
